Job summary

Centurion seeks a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse to join the team at Women’s Eastern Reception, Diagnostic and Correctional Center in Vandalia, MO. You will deliver holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients under supervision, addressing a range of physical and behavioral health needs during 7:00am–7:30pm shifts.

Eligible candidates hold a Missouri LPN license, IV and CPR/BLS certifications, and can obtain security clearance.

Qualifications

• Missouri LPN license required.
• IV Certification required.
• Active CPR/BLS certification required.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Corrections experience not required.
• Ability to obtain security clearance, including drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients under supervision of RNs and medical/psychiatric staff.
• Respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs.
• Perform within the scope of practice and report to supervising clinicians.
