Job summary

Maxim Healthcare Services, Inc. in Greenfield, IA is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide in-home pediatric nursing care for patients in their own homes.

The role is a full-time position with day and weekend shifts, offering competitive pay and benefits. Ideal candidates hold a current LPN/LVN license for the practicing state, have a current TB or chest X-ray, a valid BLS card, and prefer at least one year of professional nursing experience.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state in which the LPN will practice.
• TB or Chest X-Ray current.
• Current BLS card.
• One year prior professional nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• On each assignment, provide skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient's condition.
• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.
