Job summary

Maxim Healthcare is hiring an LPN to provide skilled nursing care in patients' homes across North Carolina. The role uses the nursing process to assess and plan care, with on-going evaluation and documentation, while delivering compassionate, patient-centered support.

Competitive pay, benefits, and a 401(k) are offered along with weekly paychecks. This weekday daytime position requires valid LPN/LVN license and current BLS, TB/Chest X-ray clearances, and a minimum of one year of nursing

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state where the LPN will practice.
• Current TB or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year prior professional nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• On each assignment, provides skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.
