Job summary

Valley Pediatric Group is seeking an LPN to join our growing pediatric outpatient team in Virginia. You will interact with children and families, take vital signs, administer medications as ordered, and support nursing staff in a fast-paced setting.

The role offers opportunities for growth and development, with a focus on compassionate care and teamwork across locations in Waynesboro and Verona. Training is provided for new graduates and pediatric-focused experience is welcomed.

Qualifications

• Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to deal with patients and family in a respectful, warm way
• Ability to demonstrate good judgment and decision-making skills
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time
• Ability to demonstrate resilience in emotionally difficult situations
• Must have proficient computer skills

Responsibilities

• Work with pediatric patients in an outpatient setting.

• Ensure supplies, medications, and equipment are restocked and maintained so they are ready to use.
• Administer medications as ordered and report adverse reactions to medications or treatments.
• Communicate openly and effectively with patients and families, while demonstrating compassion and friendly behavior.
• Supervise CCMA's and Nursing Assistants.
• Phone triage

No Pediatric experience required (will train)
