Job summary

Qualifications

  • Current Oklahoma Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing.
  • Minimum of one year of recent clinical experience preferred.
  • Experience working in a physician office, outpatient clinic, specialty practice, or similar healthcare setting.
  • Knowledge of clinical procedures, medication administration, and patient care practices.
  • Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR/EHR).
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with physicians and healthcare team members.
  • Current BLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a physician or registered nurse.
  • Obtain and document vital signs, medical histories, allergies, and current medications.
  • Prepare patients for examinations, treatments, and procedures.
  • Administer prescribed medications, injections, immunizations, and other treatments within the scope of licensure.
  • Perform clinical procedures such as wound care, dressing changes, EKGs, specimen collection, catheterization, and other duties as assigned.
  • Assist providers with examinations, minor procedures, and patient education.
  • Monitor patient conditions and communicate changes or concerns to the provider.
  • Accurately document patient care and treatment information in the electronic medical record (EMR).
  • Coordinate referrals, diagnostic testing, prescription refills, and follow-up appointments.
  • Maintain exam rooms, supplies, and medical equipment while following OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control standards.
  • Promote efficient patient flow while providing outstanding customer service and compassionate care.

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Tulsa, OK | Monday-Friday | Full-Time | $25.00-$31.00/hour DOE | Temp-to-Hire

Our clients are seeking compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join a variety of healthcare practices throughout the Tulsa area. Opportunities are available in specialty clinics, primary care offices, outpatient settings, and other medical environments. This is an excellent opportunity for an LPN who is passionate about providing exceptional patient care while working alongside experienced healthcare professionals in a collaborative setting. The ideal candidate is a licensed LPN with strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a patient-centered approach to care.

  • Occasional overtime may be available depending on the practice

  • Familiarity with EMR systems such as Epic, eClinicalWorks, Athenahealth, NextGen, Greenway, or similar platforms.
