Job summary

Harborview Health Systems in Tarboro, NC seeks a dedicated LPN Charge Nurse to lead resident care in our skilled nursing setting. This role offers 8- and 12-hour shifts, Baylor options, and comprehensive benefits.

You will deliver medications, monitor residents, support daily living activities, document clearly, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to uphold safety and quality care. Active LPN license required; nursing experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in good standing in the state of practice.
• Experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting is preferred but not required—we’ll invest in the right heart and mindset.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver medications and treatments along with supervision of Medication Aids where applicable.
• Monitor resident conditions and respond quickly to changes, ensuring safety, comfort, and continuity of care.
• Support activities of daily living.
• Maintain clear, timely documentation.
• Communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary teams and families.
