Job summary

The Marshes of Skidaway Island is seeking a hospitality focused LPN to provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise CNAs. The role offers competitive pay plus shift differentials, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, a scholarship program, and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• Active Georgia LPN license is required.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Willingness to be available for emergencies and shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living and promote independence.
• Identify medical/behavioral changes and develop/reassess care plans.
• Provide daily report to the Director of Health Services about conditions and needs for nursing supplies.
• Administer nursing care per physician orders and established standards.
• Coordinate nursing care with other disciplines to ensure comprehensive care.

The Marshes of Skidaway Island is recruiting for a hospitality focused LPN to join our team! The LPN provides direct nursing care to residents and delegates and supervises the care provided by our CNAs. Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of an LPN:

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADL), family/social activities and actively promote independent lifestyle of residents.
• Responsible for identification of resident medical and behavioral changes and the development and monitoring of care plans and re-assessment of each resident.
• Provide daily report to the Director of Health Services concerning community conditions, personnel performance, resident conditions, and needs for nursing supplies.
• Provide nursing care according to physician's orders and in conformance with recognized nursing practice, established standards, and administrative policies.
• Ensure preventative, therapeutic and rehabilitative services to residents and assists in the coordination of nursing care with care rendered by other disciplines.

• Current nursing license valid in Georgia.

• Willingness to be available for any/all emergencies regarding the community.
