Job description

Comfi-kare Home care is seeking a LPN nurse to join our team. This nurse must live in Silver Spring MD or nearby areas, and is willing to drive up to 25 to 30 miles radius around their home. We serve Montgomery County and nearby areas of Howard and PrinceGorges County MD.

The focus of this role is to complete free in home assessment. The LPN will receive $50 for up to 45 minutes plus mileage and an additional $100 if the client signs the agreement. The LPN will also do lunch and learn events with rehab facilities for a non-medical Home Care Agency. These are usually 15 to 20 min per presentation and will receive $50 for up to 30 minutes plus mileage. The LPN will be expected to fill out a Home assessment form and collect business cards at the facility of attendees of the Lunch and learn event. The food will be delivered to the facility by various restaurants. This is an as needed position. This is a LPN nurse position with at least 1 year experience. Needs to have excellent personality and drives. This person needs to be flexible and be a team player. The ideal candidate is a female, who has a current LPN nursing license and nursing home or medical surgical experience. You will be required to work Monday to Fridayand some week-enddays. Lunch and learn are generally between the hours of 1130am and 2pm and meeting with prospective clients could be any time between 10am and 6pm. A retired nurse from bedside who wants a light job, but not full time hours is ideal. Only nurses with Maryland license needs to apply.
