Job summary

Comfi-Kare Homecare Services in Maryland is currently hiring experienced Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to provide high-quality, non-medical in-home care to seniors. Responsibilities include monitoring vital signs, administering basic treatments, wound and catheter care, and coordinating with RNs and doctors to ensure safe, personalized care.

Candidates must hold an active Maryland LPN license and have a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Active Maryland LPN license is required.
• Current CPR certification is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Provide 2 professional references.
• PPD, QuantiFERON Gold or CXR may be required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patient health and vital signs.
• Administer medications and basic treatments as appropriate.
• Perform wound care and dressing changes.
• Assist with catheter care and other nursing procedures.
• Observe and report changes in patient condition.
• Educate patients and families on care plans and medications.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
• Coordinate with RNs, doctors, therapists and caregivers.

• Assist with catheter care, tube feeding, and other nursing procedures
• Observe and report changes in patient condition
• Educate patients and families about care plans and medications
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
• Coordinate with RNs, doctors, therapists, and caregivers
• Ensure patient safety and infection control

LPN Requirements

• Active Maryland LPN License
• Current CPR certification (preferred)
• Valid driver’s license & reliable transportation
• Ability to pass background check
• Ability to provide 2 professional references
• You will need PPD, QuantiFERON Gold or CXR
