Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions seeks an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a travel assignment. This day-shift position guarantees 40 hours per week and supports patient care across admission to discharge.

The LPN will collaborate with RNs, perform IV therapy, dressing changes, catheter/NG tube care, medications (including IVs), and other treatments to ensure quality care for assigned patients.

Qualifications

• Collaborates with RN to carry out nursing care and update care plans.
• Performs a range of treatment procedures including IV therapy, sterile dressing changes, catheter and NG tube care, enemas, isolation care, and medications administration.

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Travel Assignment
Days, 40 hours guaranteed.

Assumes assigned patient load of selected patients and is responsible for patients from admission to discharge. Recognizes patients conditions for changes and documents this information. Collaborates with the RN to carry out nursing care. Participates in updating care plans.
Performs a wide range of treatment procedures, including heat and cold therapy; extensive sterile dressing changes, starting maintaining and monitoring IV’s; inserting catheters and NG tubes; administering enemas; caring for isolation patients; preparing and administering medications, including IV medications; and setting up for and giving treatments such as oxygen, suction, and respiratory therapy.
