Montefiore Medical Center in Bronx, NY seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to deliver compassionate, patient-centered care under RN/physician supervision. You will administer medications, monitor vitals, assist with exams, and document interventions with high accuracy.

Responsibilities include patient triage, rooming within 15 minutes, wound care, specimen collection, and education for patients and families. LPN license, BLS, and high school diploma required; shift is Mon-Fri 9:30 AM–6:00 PM.

Qualifications

• NY LPN License & Registration is required.
• BLS Card and Infection Control Certification preferred.
• High School or GED diploma is required.

• Accurately document patient information, vitals, interventions, and medication administration with 100% accuracy.
• Collect, label, and log specimens with careful handling and zero tolerance for error.
• Clean and stock exam rooms, maintain supply par levels, and sterilize equipment via autoclave.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to escalate issues, facilitate discharge, and educate patients and families.
