Frist Cressey Ventures in New Orleans, LA is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our clinic team at Caesars/Harrahs.

The part-time, day-shift role focuses on patient-centered care, accurate charting, phlebotomy, injections, and collaboration with providers to ensure high-quality service. Responsibilities include verifying patient information, preparing for exams, and coordinating referrals in EMR systems.

Qualifications

• Active unrestricted LPN license in state of clinic location.

Responsibilities

• Verifies patient information by interviewing patients and recording medical history.
• Prepares patients for examination by performing preliminary physical tests and collecting vitals.
• Secures patient information and maintains confidentiality of records.
• Deliver overall support for Providers and clinic operations.
• Instruct patients on collection of samples and tests.
• Give injections and administer medications as directed.
• Observe patients, chart changes, and report adverse reactions.
• Ensure accurate and timely chart entries and forward charts as needed.
• Assist with scheduling tests and treatments.
• Arrange referrals and obtain pre-authorizations when directed.
• Prepare exam and treatment rooms for patient intake.
• Assist with lab testing and phlebotomy tasks.
• Assist providers in minor surgeries and physicals.
• Counsel patients by transmitting orders and questions about treatment.
• Maintain a safe work environment by following standards and regulations.
• Keeps supplies stocked and equipment maintained.

One to One Health is seeking a dedicated and patient-focused LPN to join our clinic team located at Caesars/Harrahs in New Orleans!

Job Duties:

• Verifies patient information by interviewing patients; recording medical history; confirming the purpose of the visit.
• Prepares patients for examination by performing preliminary physical tests; taking blood pressure, weight, and temperature; reporting patient history summary, and escorting a patient to the exam room.
• Secures patient information and maintains patient confidence by completing and safeguarding medical records; completing diagnostic coding and procedure coding; keeping patient information confidential.
• Deliver overall support for Providers and clinic operations.
• Instruct patients on the collection of any necessary samples and tests
• Give injections, administer prescribed medications as directed by the provider and in accordance with nursing standards
• Observe patients, charting and report changes in patients' conditions, such as adverse reactions to medication or treatment, and take any necessary action
• Ensure that patient chart entries are made accurately and in a timely matter and forward charts as appropriate.
• Assist with scheduling of tests and treatments.
• Arrange referrals to a specialist and obtain pre-authorizations when directed by the Provider.
• Prepare exam and treatment rooms for patient intake.
• Assist with lab testing and Phlebotomy.
• Assist providers in preparing for minor surgeries and physicals.
• Counsels patients by transmitting physician's orders and questions about treatment.
• Maintains a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by establishing and following standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations.
• Keeps supplies ready by inventorying stock; placing orders; verifying receipts.
• Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.
• Serves and protects the practice by adhering to professional standards, policies, and procedures, federal, state, and local requirements.
