Job summary

The Lodge at Red Rocks, Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Care is seeking a compassionate LPN to join our team in Colorado. You will provide high-quality nursing care within your scope of practice, following physician orders and center policies, while helping residents maintain their health and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed LVN/LPN in Colorado or a participating compact state.
• Possess a valid BLS Certification.
• One year’s work experience in long‑term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care within scope of practice to meet residents' needs according to standards of practice, physician orders, and center policies.
• Notifies other departments of patient changes and coordinates with care teams.
• Demonstrates ability to administer medications timely and per facility policy.
• Documents physician orders promptly and accurately per Nurse Practice Act.
• Participates in family and patient education.

Work Schedule: Full-Time / Days and Nights – 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM and 6:30 PM – 6:30 AM

Pay Rate: $34.00 - $40.00/ hour depending on experience

JOB SUMMARY

Provides nursing care within scope of practice to ensure patient’s needs are met in accordance with standards of practice, physician orders, center policies and procedures, and state, federal and local guidelines.

Other duties, responsibilities and activities may change or be assigned to you at any time with or without notice, from the Dietary Manager or NHA.

JOB DUTIES

• Demonstrates knowledge and appropriate use of the Company Infection Control Manual.

• Understands, participates and assists in implementing the Quality Improvement Program.

• Utilizes the Policies and Procedures appropriately.

• Notifies other Departments of patient changes, i.e., room changes, LOA, new admits, discharge, etc.

• Conducts family and patient education.

• Demonstrates the ability to administer medications timely and according to facility policy.

• Demonstrates the ability to administer treatments timely and according to facility policy.

• Demonstrates the ability to receive, transcribe, and carry out physician orders, if allowed by Nurse Practice Act.

• Makes rounds with physicians when necessary.

REQUIREMENTS /EXPERIENCE

• Currently licensed as LVN/LPN in Colorado or participating compact state

• Possess a valid BLS Certification

• One year’s work experience in long‑term care preferred
