Job summary

New Madrid Living Center, based in New Madrid, Missouri, is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our dedicated care team. The role focuses on delivering compassionate nursing care, supporting medication administration, and coordinating with family and staff to ensure patient comfort.

Qualified candidates will hold an active LPN license with at least basic experience; a 1-year licensure background is preferred.

• LPN licensure required.
• 1 year of licensure experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care to patients as assigned.
• Administers and records medications and treatments as assigned.
• Reinforces supports and provides health care instructions to patients and their families.
• Participates with team members in planning, implementing and evaluating nursing care and other patient activities.
• Assists in the admission, transfer, and discharge of patients.
• Observes and reports patients' vital signs, symptoms and general condition to the appropriate individual(s).
• Records on patient charts observation of patient’s responses to nursing care rendered.
• Maintains environmental conditions conducive to the comfort and safety of patients.
• Assists with unit management and/or assumes charge of unit as assigned.
