Responsibilities

• Perform nursing tasks to meet resident needs, monitor conditions, and administer medications as ordered.

• Communicate changes to RN/Supervisor and physician; maintain HIPAA compliance.

Duties

Major job functions include performing nursing tasks to assure resident needs are met. This includes: monitoring resident needs, condition and care; administering medications and treatments as ordered by the physician; orders and receives medications from the pharmacy; admits and discharges residents; oversees TMA/NAR/RCA staff; ensures narcotic policy and procedures are followed; reports changes of condition to RN/Supervisor and physician as delegated; monitors for side effects of medication and reports prn; ensures resident care plans are being followed. Follows and upholds Resident Bill of Rights and facility policies and procedures; maintains confidentiality and follows HIPAA requirements, etc. Provides excellent customer service and communication to all residents/families/visitors/MD's/ coworkers, etc.

Qualifications For a Licensed Practical Nurse (lpn)

• LPN licensure with the MN Board of Nursing
• Current CPR certification
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with all HIPPA regulations.
• Desire to work with the elderly.

Experience in medical, surgical, or geriatric nursing is preferred but not required. Are you trustworthy and respectful of others? WORK SCHEDULE

These full-time and Part-time healthcare positions work 8-hour shifts: 6:00 am to 2:00 pm, 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm, or 10:00 pm to 6:00 am. We are actively looking to hire for Day shifts, and those do require working every other weekend.
