North Ridge Health and Rehab in New Hope, MN is seeking both full-time and part-time Registered Nurses (RN) to join our dedicated clinical team. This premier rehabilitation facility values compassionate care and offers opportunities for professional growth as part of a supportive work environment.

You will provide total resident care, administer medications per physician orders, oversee nursing assistants, and help ensure confidentiality and HIPAA compliance while delivering high-quality service

Responsibilities

• Provide total care for residents, monitor condition and needs, follow physician orders to administer medications and treatments, monitor narcotic policies and procedures, report changes in residents' condition.
• Oversee nursing assistant-staff to ensure care plans are followed, complete documentation, admit and discharge residents, maintain confidentiality.
• Respond to bruises, skin tears, or neglect, uphold HIPAA requirements, and deliver excellent customer service and build relationships with residents and families.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A REGISTERED NURSE (RN)

As a Registered Nurse (RN), you play a vital role in our community. Without you, we would not be able to fulfill our purpose! You provide total care for our residents, starting with carefully monitoring their condition and needs. You follow physician orders to administer medications and treatments, ensure the narcotic policies and procedures are followed, monitor for side effects, and report any changes in the condition of residents. You also oversee the nursing assistant-registered (NAR) staff to make sure that resident care plans are being followed.

With a close eye for detail, you complete documentation as well as admit and discharge residents. You take great care to report any bruises, skin tears, or neglect that you find when caring for your residents. You live up to the trust of those in your care by maintaining confidentiality and following Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPPA) requirements as well as upholding our facility policies and procedures. Your warm and friendly demeanor makes it easy for you to provide excellent customer service and build relationships with residents, their families, visitors, and your colleagues. QUALIFICATIONS FOR A REGISTERED NURSE (RN)

• RN licensure with the MN Board of Nursing
• Current CPR certification

Experience in medical, surgical, or geriatric nursing is preferred but not required. Are you trustworthy and respectful of others? WORK SCHEDULE

These are full-time and Part-time healthcare positions work 8-hour shifts: 6:00 am to 2:00 pm, 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm, or 10:00 pm to 6:00 am. We are actively looking to hire for for mainly Day shifts, which do require working every other weekend!
