Job summary

The Heritage at Irene Woods in Memphis is seeking a hospitality-focused LPN to join our team. This role provides direct nursing care to residents and supervises care by Quality of Life Specialists/Resident Assistants, ensuring compassionate service in a warm, community-focused environment.

We embrace a culture of hospitality; all employees are expected to practice the LCS Hospitality Promises in interactions with residents and guests.

Qualifications

• Current nursing license valid in the state worked.
• Willingness to be available for emergencies.
• Wages negotiable based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise care by Quality of Life Specialists/Resident Assistants.
• Assess resident conditions and contribute to care plans and reassessments.
• Provide daily report to the Director of Health Services concerning community conditions, personnel performance, resident conditions, and needs for nursing supplies.
• Provide nursing care according to physician’s orders and established policies.
• Coordinate nursing care with other disciplines to ensure comprehensive resident support.
• Enjoy 1 free meal per shift.

The Heritage at Irene Woods is recruiting for a hospitality focused LPN to join our team! This position provides direct nursing care to residents and delegates and supervises the care provided by our Quality of Life Specialists/Resident Assistants.

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of an LPN:

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADL), family/social activities and actively promote independent life-style of residents.
• Responsible for identification of resident medical and behavioral changes and the development and monitoring of care plans and re-assessment of each resident.
• Provide daily report to the Director of Health Services concerning community conditions, personnel performance, resident conditions, and needs for nursing supplies.
• Provide nursing care according to physician’s orders and in conformance with recognized nursing practice, established standards, and administrative policies.
• Ensure preventative, therapeutic and rehabilitative services to residents and assists in the coordination of nursing care with care rendered by other disciplines
• Enjoy 1 free meal per shift!
