NKC Health ENT clinic is hiring an LPN to provide patient care under physician direction and support clinics with efficient patient flow.

The role includes administering medications, performing routine procedures, documenting in the EMR, and coordinating referrals while offering excellent patient service. Missouri LPN license and BLS are required with 2+ years in a physician’s office preferred.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of accredited school of practical nursing.
• Current license to practice as an LPN in Missouri.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a physician's office setting (preferred).
• Basic Life Support certification (American Heart Association).
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.

What are the typical hours on the job?

The hours of operation for the ENTclinic are Monday-Friday, 9am-4:30pm. Your primary schedule will be during those hours, with periodic need to work outside your schedule to serve our patients.

What does a LPN do?

As a LPN, you will provide patient care under the direction of a physician, nurse practitioner or other non-physician provider.

What does a typical day on the job look like?

• Competently assists providers to maximize patient volume, administers medications, performs diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, and returns patient calls in a timely manner.
• Ensures effective patient communication and efficient patient flow. Documents patient care accurately and timely. Performs EMR tasks correctly and timely. Processes patient referrals timely and follows up to ensure the specialist report or test result is received.
• Follows all regulatory and patient safety clinical standards.
• Works and communicates effectively with all providers. Promotes teamwork. Provides great customer service in person and on the telephone.
• Performs administrative duties such as greeting patients; registration; scheduling; pre-certification of tests, procedures and medications; processing insurance forms; preparing financial records; answering phones; and entering ambulatory care charges.

What are the requirements for the job?

• Graduate of accredited school of practical nursing, or accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current license to practice in the state of Missouri.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a physician’s office setting, preferred.
• Basic Life Support certification through American Heart Association.
• Basic office skills, patient centered mindset, excellent time management and organization skills; ability to multitask and work in fast paced environment.
