Park Place Transitional Care & Rehab in Great Falls, MT, is seeking an LPN to join Montana's first long-term ventilator unit. You will monitor vital signs, manage ventilator care under orders, administer meds, and support patients and families.

A compact MT license with ACLS is required, plus 6 months of hospital experience and a clean background. We offer a full-time schedule, a $10k–$20k hiring bonus, and a supportive team at a 189-bed campus with on-site physician coverage.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in Montana or a compact state.
• ACLS certification, or willing to obtain within the first 2 weeks.
• At least 6 months of hospital experience; ICU or ER preferred.
• Able to pass a background check.

Responsabilités

• Monitor and record vital signs and observe respiratory status, reporting changes to RN and provider.
• Assist with ventilator management under orders and with respiratory therapy; report changes.
• Administer medications as ordered within LPN scope and monitor effects.
• Provide airway suctioning, tracheostomy care and nebulizer treatments.
• Document care and ventilator settings; collaborate with physicians, RNs and respiratory therapists on care plans.
• Teach and support patients and families; follow infection control practices.
• Respond to emergencies and ventilator alarms.

What you'll do

• Monitor and record vital signs, including heart rate, blood pressure and oxygen saturation, and observe and report changes in respiratory status and condition to the RN and provider
• Assist with ventilator management: set up and check ventilator function under the provider's orders and with respiratory therapy, and report changes
• Give medications as ordered, within LPN scope, and monitor their effects
• Provide airway suctioning, tracheostomy care and nebulizer treatments
• Document care, interventions and ventilator settings accurately, and work with physicians, RNs and respiratory therapists on the care plan
• Teach and support patients and families, and follow strict infection control practices
• Respond to emergencies and ventilator alarms

What you bring
