Job summary

Veritas Skilled Nursing Management is hiring a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Dover, Delaware, to work 12-hour shifts. Every other weekend is required. The role emphasizes care planning, documentation, and collaboration with the medical team.

The position requires a current Delaware LPN license and completion of background check and drug screening prior to hire. Comprehensive benefits and a team-focused environment are offered.

Responsibilities

• Examine residents and their records to determine appropriate care.
• Perform administrative duties such as completing medical forms, reports, evaluations, studies, charting.
• Make written and oral reports/recommendations to attending physician, Medical Director or administrator.
• Participate in facility surveys made by authorized government agencies.
• Participate in regularly scheduled reviews of the Discharge Plans.
• Be familiar with and use PPE as offered by the facility.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Examine residents and their records to determine appropriate care.
• Perform administrative duties regarding assigned residents, such as completing medical forms, reports, evaluations, studies, charting.
• Make written and oral reports/recommendations to the attending physician, Medical Director or the administrator.
• Participate in facility surveys made by authorized government agencies.
• Participate in regularly scheduled reviews of the Discharge Plans.
• Be familiar with, and use as appropriate all items of personal protective equipment offered by the facility.
