Job summary

Piedmont Columbus Northside is seeking an Licensed Practical Nurse to provide nursing care under supervision of a Registered Nurse or provider. The role supports patients from birth through the lifecycle, utilizing the nursing process and adhering to organizational policies.

The LPN will guide ancillary staff and collaborate with health care professionals to ensure holistic care. The position requires graduation from an LPN program, licensure, BCLS, and ACLS/PALS as applicable.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an LPN program required.
• New graduates of an accredited nursing school are eligible.
• Nursing experience in hospital setting preferred.

Work Experience

• Nursing Experience in Hospital Setting Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

• LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse - State Licensure Required
• BCLS - Basic Life Support Required
• Demonstrated clinical competency in the specialty area applying for Preferred
• ACLS if working in Emergency Department Required and
• PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support if working in Emergency Department within 180 Days Required
• LPNs new to specialty will complete applicable certifications within 180 Days
