Job summary

Piedmont Newton Hospital is seeking an Licensed Practical Nurse to provide nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or provider across the patient lifecycle, following Piedmont Healthcare's mission and procedures.

The LPN will collaborate with health care professionals, guide ancillary staff, and apply compassionate, modern nursing care within the organization's policies. New graduates are eligible with required licensure and certifications within defined timelines.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an LPN program required.
• New graduates are eligible.
• Nursing experience in a hospital setting preferred.
• LPN license required.
• BCLS certification required.
• ACLS required for ED staff.
• PALS required in ED within 180 days.

• Nursing Experience in Hospital Setting Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

• LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse - State Licensure Required
• BCLS - Basic Life Support Required
• Demonstrated clinical competency in the specialty area applying for Preferred
• ACLS if working in Emergency Department Required and
• PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support if working in Emergency Department within 180 Days Required
• LPNs new to specialty will complete applicable certifications within 180 Days
