WJM Professional Services, LLC seeks an LPN to work under nurse manager supervision across Acute Care Medical/Surgical areas and ambulatory clinics in Charleston, SC. The LPN will assist in medication administration, patient assessment, and documentation, collaborating with RNs and providers to support high-quality care.
Candidates must hold an active LPN license and be able to function in both dependent and independent roles in a busy clinical setting, with strong customer service and teamwork
Under the supervision of the nurse manager, the LPN works closely with others as needed in the Acute Care Medical/Surgical areas and Primary Care setting throughout Charleston VA and surrounding Community Based Outpatient Clinics. The LPN functions both dependently and independently with guidance and direction from te Nurse Manager/designee. LPM must have active, current registration as a professional nurse in a State, District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States.
Under the supervision of the nurse manager, the LPN works closely with others as needed in the Acute Care Medical/Surgical areas, in ambulatory/outpatient care clinics, and outpatient lab. Knowledge and skill sufficient to prepare, administer, and appropriately document actions taken specific to commonly prescribed oral, topical, subcutaneous, intramuscular, and/or intravenous medications as permitted by approved local facility policies and procedures. Observation and documentation will include patient’s response to medication administered and the reporting of any noted change in patient’s condition to RN or MD/DO. Demonstrated ability to serve as a responsible member of the nursing team and interact (in an appropriate manner) with patients, family members, professional and (other) supportive personnel (involved in the delivery of) patient care, incorporating acceptable, established customer service standards into practice.
