Job summary

Country Meadows Retirement Communities is seeking a licensed practical nurse for our Bethlehem, PA campus. Pay starts at $35.50/hour with shift differential, and opportunities to earn more based on experience.

Set schedules include every other weekend and every other holiday off to improve work-life balance. Responsibilities include developing care plans, coordinating with the care team, monitoring medications, and providing compassionate resident care in a home-like setting.

Qualifications

• LPN license in the state where employed.
• Minimum of one-year experience in assisted living or other health care setting.
• Leadership skills and the ability to form relationships with residents, their loved ones and our co-workers.
• Ability to perform the physical tasks required in this type of role.

Responsibilities

• Form bonds with residents, their loved ones and physicians to create care plans using critical thinking, a “big picture” outlook and good judgment.
• Coach co-workers to monitor and support residents’ needs with urgency and responsiveness.
• Round with physicians, oversee orders and monitor medications to ensure quality care around the clock.
• Educate residents and families about health and wellness issues relevant to the care plan.
• Serve as and share the responsibilities of the Manager on Duty.
