Job summary

Interim HealthCare Inc. is seeking a Private Duty Nurse (RN/LPN) to provide in-home direct patient care under a prescribed plan, ensuring comfort and safety for clients.

You will assess conditions, document progress, administer medications, and collaborate with the care team to achieve optimal outcomes. Flexible scheduling includes FT, PT, or PRN, with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN or LPN license in state of assignment.
• Current CPR/AED/BLS/First Aid certification.
• Reliable transportation to home care sites/work locations.
• Trach and/or ventilator experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home direct patient care according to the prescribed plan of care.
• Assess and document patient conditions and report changes.
• Administer medications, insulin, and IV fluids as ordered.
• Inspect and care for wounds and assist with hygiene.
• Assess for complications and provide appropriate treatments.
• Collaborate with providers and care team to ensure patient outcomes.

As aPrivate Duty Nurse(RN/LPN), you will be called to care when you're needed most. As part of Interim HealthCare, you'll support a full range of patient services to bring comfort and dignity to our clients.

As a Private Duty Nurse (RN/LPN), you will:

• Providein-homedirect patient care according to theprovider'sprescribed plan of care (and nursingscope of practice) while closely monitoring progress/recovery.
• Assessand document patient conditions and reportchangesas needed (vitals,blood/stool/urine, glucose,etc.).
• Administer medication, insulin, and IV/fluids;documenting thoroughly.
• Inspect and care for wounds, changing dressings, and assisting with personal hygiene.
• Assess patients for further injuries, infections, bedsores, etc., and deliver appropriate treatments.
• Collaborate with providers, aides, and allied health professionals to ensure exceptional patient outcomes.

To qualify for a Private Duty Nurse (RN/LPN) with us, you will need:

• Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensure: Current unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state associated with this position OR Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
• Current CPR/AED/BLS/First Aid certification.
• Reliable transportation to/from care sites and/or work locations.
• Practical trach and/or ventilator experience preferred but not required.
