Job summary

Interim HealthCare Inc. is seeking Private Duty Nurses (RN/LPN) to deliver in-home patient care with a focus on comfort and dignity. The role requires nursing licensure, CPR/First Aid, and reliable transportation to care sites.

You will work with a dedicated team to provide 1:1 care, monitor progress, and document changes in patient status. We offer flexible scheduling across FT/PT/PRN options, daily pay, and a supportive work environment emphasizing integrity and patient-centered outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current unrestricted RN or LPN license in the state.
• CPR/AED/BLS/First Aid certification.
• Reliable transportation to/from care sites.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home direct patient care per plan of care.
• Assess and document patient conditions and report changes.
• Administer medications, insulin, and IV fluids as prescribed.
• Inspect and care for wounds and assist with hygiene.
• Assess for injuries or complications and respond appropriately.
• Collaborate with providers and care team to ensure outcomes.

As a Private Duty Nurse (RN/LPN), you will:

• Providein-homedirect patient care according to theprovider’sprescribed plan of care (and nursingscopeofpractice) while closely monitoring progress/recovery.
• Assessand document patient conditions and reportchangesas needed (vitals,blood/stool/urine, glucose,etc.).
• Administer medication, insulin, and IV/fluids;documenting thoroughly.
• Inspect and care for wounds, changing dressings, and assisting with personal hygiene.
• Assess patients for further injuries, infections, bedsores, etc., and deliver appropriate treatments.
• Collaborate with providers, aides, and allied health professionals to ensure exceptional patient outcomes.

To qualify for a Private Duty Nurse (RN/LPN) with us, you will need:

• Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensure: Current unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state associated with this position OR Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
• Current CPR/AED/BLS/First Aid certification.
• Reliable transportation to/from care sites and/or work locations.
• Practical trach and/or ventilator experience preferred but not required.
