Job summary

Coherent Corp. in Easton, PA is seeking a Production Engineer to work on the Liquid Phase Epitaxy (LPE) process and help improve/develop it at our Easton facility.

The role is Monday–Friday day shift; you may train for about 6 to 8 months at our Hillsborough, NJ facility at the start.

Responsibilities include supporting production tasks, crystal growth analysis, troubleshooting LPE equipment, and preparing technical reports.

Qualifications

• Minimum: Bachelor’s in Engineering.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Mechanical or Material Science Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Help with all production tasks associated with the LPE process.
• Perform crystal growth analysis.
• Dumping/make new production melts.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot any mechanical or electrical issues with LPE equipment.
• Assist with product improvement/development.
• Prepare and present technical reports.
