Job summary

MindCare Solutions is seeking a licensed LPCC/LISW to deliver high-quality behavioral health services within hospital and community settings in the Columbus area. The role includes counseling, care coordination, telehealth support, and collaboration with clinical teams to integrate behavioral health into comprehensive care plans.

Applicants should have a Master’s degree in counseling or social work, an OH LPCC/LISW license, and at least 3 years of clinical experience.

Qualifications

  • Active and unrestricted LPCC or LISW license in OH.
  • Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in behavioral health.
  • Knowledge of behavioral health screening tools and evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
  • Strong telehealth proficiency and ability to adapt to new technologies.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct counseling and therapeutic interventions to patients, utilizing evidence-based approaches.
  • Develop personalized care plans addressing psychological and emotional challenges.
  • Collaborate with primary care providers, psychiatrists, and other healthcare team members to integrate behavioral health services into patient care.
  • Act as a resource for medical staff, ensuring alignment with evidence-based behavioral health practices.
  • Deliver telehealth services to patients, ensuring accessibility and high-quality care in virtual settings.
  • Utilize telehealth technology to expand access to care and reduce barriers for patients.
  • Administer, score, and interpret validated behavioral health screening tools (e.g., PHQ-9, GAD-7) to identify patient needs.
  • Document screening outcomes and provide feedback to patients and the care team.
  • Develop action plans based on screening results and ensure follow-ups.
  • Act as a patient advocate to ensure timely access to appropriate behavioral health services.
  • Educate patients and families about behavioral health conditions coping strategies, treatment plans, and available resources.
  • Provide case management services to ensure continuity of care, including referrals to community resources and specialized services.
  • Monitor and document patient progress, modifying care plans as needed
  • Assist in the development and implementation of behavioral health programs to meet patient and community needs.
  • Monitor program outcomes and recommend improvements.
  • Provide training to healthcare staff on behavioral health topics, tools, and best practices.
  • Serve as a resource for patients, families, and providers regarding behavioral health care.

LPCC/LISW

The LPCC/LISW supports the delivery of high-quality behavioral health services through counseling, care coordination, and collaboration. This role includes overseeing behavioral health assessments, providing telehealth support, and implementing behavioral health screening tools to optimize patient care outcomes. The role is instrumental in fostering interdisciplinary collaboration and ensuring seamless integration of behavioral health into comprehensive care plans. Key responsibilities include collaborating closely with clinical teams to share clinical expertise and program coordination to provide patient-centered, evidence-based care while ensuring compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.

Compensation

up to $75,000 per year

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • An appropriate combination of education, training, course work and experience may qualify an applicant to demonstrate required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

  • Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in behavioral health.
  • Knowledge of behavioral health screening tools and evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
  • Strong telehealth proficiency and ability to adapt to new technologies.

  • Ability to work independently and within a team setting.
  • Maintain clinical competency and compliance with all applicable regulations.
