Job summary

Arcare is seeking an energetic Licensed Counselor to join our behavioral health team. The role involves conducting mental health assessments to guide care placement and identifying factors impacting recovery.

Qualifications

• Masters's degree required
• Current licensure as an LPC or LCSW in the relevant state
• Experience with telehealth and substance abuse treatment preferred
• Experience with children and adolescent mental health services is a plus
• Comfortable working with substance use patients and individuals on Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT)

Responsibilities

• Conduct mental health assessments to determine appropriate care placement
• Provide individual therapy to help clients recognize and manage mental health challenges
• Facilitate group therapy sessions to provide patients with a supportive space for addressing recovery-related mental health concerns alongside their peers
