Qualifications

• Candidates must be licensed and eligible to become a certified clinical supervisor.
• Experience in providing supervision to Counselors in Residence or comparable roles.
• Must maintain a professional clinical caseload.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Counselors in Residence or Resident Social Workers.
• Complete documentation with the supervisee.
• Assist with mandatory reporting when needed.
• Meet with supervisees as per board requirements.
• Develop and review treatment plans and assessments.
• Teach and review clinical notes.
• Attend monthly peer supervision meetings.

Skills

Licensed through the Virginia Board of Counseling or Social Work

Prior experience in a private practice setting

Approved Licensed Clinical Supervisor certification
