Job summary

Aireon LLC in Kapolei, HI seeks an experienced helper in construction/maintenance to support LP gas operations and yard duties. You will follow detailed orders to assist with lifting, assembly, and transport of gas containers and equipment.

The role requires a CDL-B with HazMat, strong safety discipline, and the ability to work outdoors in varying conditions. Technical schooling or apprenticeship background is preferred, with potential training for Tankerman duties.

Qualifications

• At least one year progressive experience in construction/maintenance duties.
• Valid Class B CDL with Hazardous Materials endorsement; medical certificate.
• Knowledge of NFPA 58 and local plumbing code; safety rules.
• Good working knowledge of tools and equipment; strong mechanical aptitude.
• Must complete required DOT/OSHA courses and maintain passing scores.
• Must retain security certifications such as TWIC and AOA; forklift certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist higher grade personnel with lifting/placement of LP gas containers and related fittings.
• Clean vessels and fittings; perform surface prep and paint LP gas equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of shop/yard; handle parts and tools.
• Assist as Tankerman for LP gas filling/discharging and barge maintenance as directed.
• Operate loader and forklift; drive cylinder delivery when required.
• Document work on company forms and enter maintenance actions into software.
