Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support a safe, positive teaching and learning environment.
• Assist in the preparation of instructional materials and lesson plans and provide routine support.
• Assist the classroom teacher in arranging learning environments and keeping displays current.
• Assist students with completing assignments, homework, and projects and reinforce classroom rules.
• Provide small-group instructional support by reading to students and assisting with reading, math, spelling and writing exercises.
