Job summary

The Oaks Academy is seeking a role that combines classroom leadership with a strong Christian-centered education. You will collaborate with teachers to maintain a safe, engaging learning environment and oversee students during personalized blocks.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree, have teaching experience, and are devout Christians affiliated with a Christ-centered faith community, with full work authorization in the U.S. The school offers a supportive, faith-driven environment.

• Teaching and classroom experience required.

• Participate in professional learning during after-school meetings and PD days.

Your Role

Here’s what you will be doing:

• Model and teach habits that help students grow in wisdom, compassion, and Christ-like maturity
• Support teachers in maintaining a safe and engaging learning environment that fosters a lifelong love of learning
• Provide oversight of students during personalized learning blocks, ensuring a focused and productive environment
• Facilitate extension activities for students during personalized learning blocks, enriching and deepening their engagement with the curriculum
• Help students thrive as they develop strong relationships with God, others, ideas, and the world
• Know and love each student to promote their continued growth and development
• Monitor lunch and recess, supporting student safety and healthy interpersonal relationships
• Assist with arrival and dismissal, ensuring smooth and safe transitions for students and families
• Participate in meaningful, ongoing professional learning during regularly scheduled after school meetings and professional development days

About You
