Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (preferred).

• Active Christian and member in good standing of a Bible-believing church.
• Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to adjust to varying daily responsibilities.
• Strong classroom management and organizational skills, including calendar coordination.
• Excellent critical thinking, verbal, and written communication skills.

Title: Lower School Substitute Teacher

Reports to: Lower School Principal

Work Year: 10-Month Non-Exempt, Seasonal (As Needed Basis)

The Lower School substitute teacher will serve in a range of grade levels from Pre-Kindergarten through 6th grade on an as-needed basis, up to 27.5 hours per week. The Lower School substitute teacher will implement classroom instruction utilizing teacher-provided lesson plans and maintain a positive and structured learning environment. Candidates must demonstrate a love for children, a commitment to Biblical values, and the ability to communicate effectively while managing classroom responsibilities with professionalism and care.
