Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Experience in early childhood education is preferred.
• Strong Christian testimony and calling to serve as a positive Christian role model.
• Commitment to exceptional customer service to all members of the community.
• Willingness to lead and support school-wide initiatives.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Record of classroom experience and teamwork.
• Proficiency in technology and knowledge of Google Workspace.

Responsibilities

• Assist students during teacher-directed whole group, small group, and individualized instruction.
• Monitor and support students during independent work and cooperative activities.
• Provide follow-up and review after instruction.
• Prepare educational materials and perform clerical tasks.
• Provide accommodations per documented plans with guidance.
• Assist in monitoring student behavior and provide positive reinforcement.
• Serve as a classroom substitute when needed.
• Maintain confidentiality of student information and demonstrate reliability.
• Demonstrate effective interpersonal communication within the classroom.
• Assist with lunchroom, carpool and other duties as assigned.
• Contribute to the Lower School as an active team member and support school-wide initiatives.
