Job description

Three Oaks Hospitality’s collection of community-driven restaurants and bars is seeking a motivated and outgoing individual to fill the role of Bar Manager. The restaurant manager will work under the direction of the General Manager and fulfills a variety of responsibilities, including overseeing the daily operations of the bar and ensuring guest satisfaction. From solving customer service issues to performing quality control on drinks, there’s nothing they don’t do. Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Monitor the performance of bartenders.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback and training as necessary.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Recruit, interview, hire, and train new bar staff employees.
  • Manage bar staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the bar ensuring smooth and efficient service.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain a high level of customer service.
  • Monitor inventory levels and place orders for supplies as necessary.
  • Create and update drink menus, ensuring a diverse selection of beverages.
  • Resolve customer service issues and customer complaints.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area.
  • Create schedules for full-time and part-time restaurant staff.
  • Manage cash flow, records, and credit card payments.
  • Ensure restaurant and employee compliance with all health and safety codes.
  • Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to coordinate food and beverage service.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
  • Must be able to lift, balance, and carry trays of food weighing up to 20 pounds.
  • Ability to work with varying noise levels.
