Lowe's Local Flatbed Delivery Driver - Great Pay!

Join us as a Lowe's Local Flatbed Delivery Driver at Class A Drivers. This role involves planning and executing delivery activities, preparing loads, following routes, and assisting with merchandise installations, returns, and unloading. You will also ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of delivery vehicles, observe safety procedures, and maintain necessary certifications.

Responsibilities

1. Plan and execute delivery routes.
2. Prepare delivery loads and assist with installations or returns.
3. Unload merchandise and check appliances and store equipment.
4. Maintain vehicle cleanliness and safety standards.
5. Observe DOT regulations, Hazmat protocols, and operate power equipment safely.
6. Maintain DOT and CDL certifications and comply with reporting requirements.

Job Requirements

• Availability in the mornings, afternoons, and evenings any day of the week.
• Physical ability to move large, bulky, or heavy merchandise.
• Ability to perform tasks requiring prolonged standing, sitting, and other physical activities.

Minimum Qualifications

• Valid Class A or B license with air brake endorsement.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.
• Minimum age of 21 years.

Preferred Qualifications

• 3 months forklift or Moffett operation experience.
• 1 year of semi-truck/trailer driving experience or certification from a driving school.
• 6 months experience in in-home delivery or retail customer service.
