Stambaughs Inc. in Union Bridge, MD, is seeking a skilled Lowboy/Dump Truck Driver to join our team. You will operate lowboy and dump trucks, transport heavy equipment, and work with a hardworking crew dedicated to safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities include inspections, load securement, and clear communication with dispatchers. A Class A CDL and DOT/HOS knowledge are required, with a focus on reliability and safety.

Formación

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and Hours of Service (HOS) requirements.
• Experience with load securement and heavy haul transport.

Responsabilidades

• Operate lowboy and dump truck vehicles to transport heavy equipment, materials, and loads to and from job sites.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
• Load and unload materials safely, following proper securement procedures.
• Maintain accurate driver logs and documentation in accordance with DOT regulations.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, site supervisors, and crew members.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, weight limits, and safety regulations.
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance and report mechanical issues promptly.

Requirements:

• Valid Class A CDL required
• Previous experience operating lowboy trailers and/or dump trucks strongly preferred
• Clean driving record and ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and Hours of Service (HOS) requirements
• Experience with load securement and heavy haul transport
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and a safety-first mindset
