Position Overview

This is a skilled position requiring at least three years of related experience. The individual will operate a Lowboy Truck to transport construction equipment to and from job sites. Responsibilities include conducting pre- and post-trip inspections, performing oil, grease, and service tasks, making operational adjustments, and moving transported equipment as needed. Applicants must possess a valid Commercial Drivers' License with appropriate endorsements in accordance with 49 CFR 383.91 (heavy straight vehicle - Group B, or combination - Group A). Local candidates will be given special consideration.

Minimum Requirements

• Safe and efficient operation of equipment
• Performing truck inspections (oil, water, lights, tires, windshield, fire extinguisher, fuel, seat belt, mirrors, windows), starting engine, warming up, and checking brakes and steering
• Following verbal and written instructions
• Knowledge of heavy equipment
• Driving truck to deliver and pick up equipment at job sites
• Ability to lift/move up to 30 lbs, climb, sit/drive, shift gears, cover/uncover loads, change wheels, and use hand tools
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
