The role requires a Class A CDL with a clean record, experience with lowboy/Landoll trailers, and solid knowledge of DOT rules. You will collaborate with project teams to meet tight schedules and ensure safe, compliant moves.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record.
• Experience operating lowboy and/or Landoll trailers.
• Strong knowledge of DOT hours-of-service regulations.
• Reliable, safety-conscious, able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Operate lowboy and Landoll trailers to transport heavy equipment and oversized loads.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections for safe operation and compliance.
• Safely rig, load, and secure excavators, bulldozers, and other heavy machinery.
• Plan routes for oversized loads and obtain necessary permits.
• Coordinate with project managers to meet delivery schedules.
• Maintain driver logs and documentation per DOT requirements.
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance and report issues promptly.

Responsibilities

• Operate lowboy and Landoll trailers to transport heavy equipment, machinery, and oversized loads to and from job sites
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safe and compliant operation
• Safely load, secure, and unload heavy construction equipment including excavators, bulldozers, and compactors
• Plan and navigate routes for oversized/overweight loads, including obtaining necessary permits
• Coordinate with project managers and site supervisors to meet delivery schedules
• Maintain accurate driver logs and documentation in compliance with DOT regulations
• Perform basic maintenance and report mechanical issues promptly

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record
• Proven experience operating lowboy and/or Landoll trailers
• Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and hours-of-service requirements
• Experience hauling heavy construction equipment in an excavating or construction environment
• Ability to safely rig, chain, and secure oversized loads
• Familiarity with oversize/overweight load permitting processes
• Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
