Job summary

Zenith Tech in the Waukesha area is seeking a Lowboy/Flatbed Driver to operate a tractor and trailer across Wisconsin job sites. You will locate and relocate heavy equipment and materials used in road construction and repair, while maintaining safety and compliance with FMCSA rules.

The position requires a Class A CDL with an N endorsement, 2+ years of tractor/trailer experience, and the ability to travel statewide. Union benefits and training opportunities are offered to employees.

Qualifications

• Minimum two (2) years of tractor/trailer driving experience hauling large machinery and material loads.
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License with the "N" endorsement.
• Current Federal Medical card and satisfactory driving record.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with others.
• Knowledge of FMCSA regulatory rules.

Responsibilities

• Drive a lowboy/flatbed tractor and trailer to job sites safely and efficiently.
• Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate logbooks in compliance with FMCSA regulations.
• Operate vehicles and equipment in variable weather conditions and at all hours, including nights, early mornings, and weekends.
• Keep the tractor, trailer, and associated equipment in good working order and perform basic mechanical maintenance.
• Work cooperatively with crew members and maintain clear communication on the job site.
