Lowboy Driver

This position is eligible for a sign-on bonus of $1,000 paid at hire and $1,000 paid after 13 weeks of work.

The Position

Lowboy/Flatbed Driver responsible for operating a tractor and trailer (lowboy or flat) to job sites to locate and relocate heavy equipment and materials used in building, repairing, and paving roads. This is a Company Driver position. A valid Commercial Driver’s License (Class A) is required.

The Location

• Zenith Tech is primarily located in the Waukesha area; projects may vary by location, with travel throughout the local area or state possible.

The Candidate

• Minimum two (2) years of related tractor/trailer driving experience hauling large machinery and material loads
• Valid Class A CDL with "N" endorsement, current Federal Medical card, and satisfactory driving record
• Experience with various types of heavy equipment (preferred)
• Some mechanical aptitude, training and/or experience (preferred)
• Excellent communication skills, ability to work well with others, and working knowledge of FMCSA regulatory rules
• Must be punctual and dependable
• Ability to work varied hours including nights, early mornings, and weekends as needed
• Ability to tolerate and work in variable weather conditions, and in dirty and dusty environments
• Member of the appropriate trade union or willingness to become a union member; union membership may not be required prior to employment. HR can assist in the process as needed.
