Job summary

Allan Myers Inc. is seeking a dedicated tractor-trailer operator to transport construction materials to customer sites and job locations. You may be assigned to multiple sites, performing inspections and ensuring compliance with company policies and safety standards.

Responsibilities include driving under commercial regulations, maintaining logs, and reporting conditions or site changes promptly. The role demands adherence to DOT physicals, reliable operation of heavy equipment, and ongoing

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Valid Class A CDL required for Low bed, low boy operations.
Valid Class B CDL required for Tilt and flat bed operations.
In compliance with all DOT physical requirements.
Previous experience preferred.
Valid Driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure safety and report issues to the shop.
Drive to destinations in compliance with commercial driving regulations and road knowledge.
Maintain truck logs per state, federal regulations and company policy.
Communicate problems with traffic or site conditions; obtain location information for job sites.
Ensure truck maintenance, cleanliness, and repair per Truck Driver's Handbook guidelines.
Perform other job-related duties as required or assigned.
