Job summary

Richesin Engineering, LLC is expanding our low-voltage field team in Central Oregon, seeking a hands-on technician. You'll install Starlink dishes, mount IP cameras, and wire structured cabling, visiting customer sites, planning approaches, running cables, and configuring systems for handoff.

This role is outdoors and indoors, on rooftops, in server rooms, and across Oregon, with travel to Alaska, Hawaii, and beyond. Oregon license preferred; we will support licensing.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in low-voltage, A/V, security, or IT field work.
• Oregon low-voltage technician license preferred (or willingness to obtain).
• Experience with Starlink, IP cameras, or structured cabling is a strong plus.
• Comfortable working on rooftops, in attics, and in server rooms.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Own basic hand tools (we provide specialized equipment).
• Reliable, professional, and customer-facing.

Responsibilities

• Install Starlink satellite internet systems at residential and commercial sites.
• Mount and configure IP surveillance cameras and NVR systems.
• Install access control systems including door controllers and card readers.
• Run and terminate structured cabling (Cat5e/Cat6/fiber).
• Configure network switches and basic IP network components.
• Troubleshoot existing low-voltage installations and identify faults.
• Complete accurate documentation of installations and as-built drawings.
• Communicate professionally with customers throughout the installation process.
