Job summary

Walmart is seeking a dedicated Low Voltage Technician to join our Bangor, ME team. This role focuses on maintaining and upgrading low voltage systems, ensuring compliance with codes, and delivering reliable service to customers.

The ideal candidate will hold state licenses, relevant certifications, and hands-on experience with blueprints, schematics, and tool usage. A strong safety mindset and customer-focused approach are essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

Must hold state and jurisdiction certification and license for the state/jurisdiction of work.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience reading blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
Experience using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.
Knowledge of local electrical codes and standards.

Responsibilities

Address customer inquiries professionally and efficiently.
Ensure installations and repairs adhere to local, state, and federal regulations.
Follow all safety guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
Maintain accurate and detailed records of installations, maintenance, and repairs.
Evaluate existing systems to determine if upgrades or enhancements are needed.
Perform system upgrades to improve performance or comply with new standards.
Work closely with other technicians, engineers, and project managers to ensure successful project completion.
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide appropriate solutions.
Stay abreast of the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
