Job summary

Yas Networks is seeking experienced Low Voltage Technicians to join our growing team in the DC Metro area. If you have experience installing, terminating, and troubleshooting low voltage systems for commercial and industrial environments, we want to hear from you.

You will install, test, and service structured cabling, access control, CCTV, intrusion, AV systems, and read blueprints to meet project specs while coordinating with project managers for timely completion.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience installing low voltage systems.
• Ability to read blueprints and wiring schematics.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification and BICSI technician credentials.

Responsibilities

• Install, terminate, test, and troubleshoot low voltage systems.
• Install and service structured cabling (Cat5e, Cat6, fiber optic).
• Install and configure access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, and network infrastructure.
• Install and configure Audio Visual System.
• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and project specifications.
• Perform cable testing, labeling, certification, and documentation.
• Troubleshoot and repair existing low voltage systems.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and professional work environment.
• Coordinate with project managers, customers, and fellow technicians to ensure successful project completion.
• Follow all company safety policies and applicable electrical codes.

• Ability to lift 50 pounds, climb ladders, and work in commercial or industrial environments.

Qualifications

• BICSI Technician certification
• Fiber termination and testing experience
• Experience with manufacturers such as Cisco, HP Poly, Verkada, Avigilon, Lenel
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
