Service Technician

Electro Watchman, Inc. is seeking experienced alarm installers and service technicians for immediate employment in Sioux Falls, SD. We welcome qualified professionals as well as hardworking individuals new to the high-tech security industry who are looking for a challenging career. The successful candidate will work with a variety of systems including security, fire alarms, CCTV, access control, wandering alarms, panic and hold-up systems in both commercial and residential settings.

Duties include:

• Installation, programming, testing, maintenance, or repair of low voltage electronic systems and equipment.
• Ensuring work complies with relevant codes.

Pay:

$20.00 - $34.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Candidate Skills and Abilities:

• Valid Driver’s License & Clean Driving Record

• Drug-free status
• Basic wiring and electronic principles knowledge
• Ability to troubleshoot wiring problems
• No felonies or serious misdemeanors
• Knowledge of fire and burglar alarm systems
• Knowledge of CCTV systems
• Ability to read maps, diagrams, and schematics
• Understanding of programming control panels
• Adaptability to new and evolving technology and systems
• Ability to work at heights and in enclosed spaces
• Occasional out-of-town work with overnight stays

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1+ years of field experience
• NICET certification
• Minnesota PLT License
• Computer networking experience
