Job summary

Immediate Technical Services Inc is seeking a skilled cabling technician in New Jersey to install, troubleshoot, repair, and terminate Cat5e/6, coax, and fiber optic cables across multiple locations.

You will carry personal tools, work with common testing equipment, and ensure compliance with cabling standards. A valid driver's license, teamwork, and strong communication are essential for daily field work and occasional overtime.

• Own personal tools (drill, crimper, punch down, labeler, tester) required.
• Proficiency with testing equipment.

• Physical ability to lift up to 60 pounds and climb ladders.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and terminate Cat5e/6, coax, and fiber optic cables.

Duties include:

Installation, troubleshooting, repair, and termination of Cat 5e, 6, coax, and fiber

optic cables.

Successful candidates will have:

Must have valid Driver's license.

Must Have their own personal tools; small personal drill, crimper, punch down, P-touch Labeler, wire map tester , etc. excluding Certifiers and Power Tools.

Proficiency with testing equipment.

Working knowledge of current cabling standards and codes.

Professional appearance and demeanor.

Must be a team player as our techs often work together

Strong communication skills.

Physical ability to lift up to 60 pounds and work on ladders.
