Low Voltage Technician

State Systems, Inc. of Northwest Arkansas is actively seeking to hire a full-time technician to install and service commercial fire alarms, access control systems, electronic security systems, and other low voltage systems, while addressing customer needs.

This position offers a competitive wage based on experience, education, and certifications. The typical work schedule is Monday - Friday, from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm.

Daily responsibilities include installing and programming low voltage systems according to project specifications, codes, and AHJ standards.

What You'll Do:
  1. Install, program, and service fire alarm systems.
  2. Install, program, and service access control systems.
  3. Perform tasks related to CCTV, intrusion detection, and low voltage communications.
  4. Service and perform preventive maintenance on various low voltage systems.
  5. Troubleshoot electrical issues with testing devices.
  6. Ensure compliance with electrical and fire safety codes.
  7. Work independently or as part of a team.
  8. Maintain and care for equipment properly.
  9. Be in good physical condition with no limitations.
  10. Work outdoors in inclement weather.
  11. Be able to carry 50 pounds repeatedly and push/pull over 100 pounds as needed.
  12. Safely climb ladders and reach heights of 12-24 ft.
