Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Low Voltage Technician to join our team. As a Low Voltage Technician, you will be responsible for installing low-voltage systems such as intrusion systems, CCTV, access control, data, and physical networks. This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical knowledge and attention to detail.

Duties:

• Follow direction from Lead Technician as required to complete projects
• Install low-voltage systems according to blueprints and/or work orders up to and including but not limited to:
• Cabling (Category + Fiber)
• Maintain accurate documentation of all installations

Requirements:

• Following safety protocols as provided during training and by your lead technician
• Strong knowledge of hand tools and their proper usage.
• CAT6 termination and testing
• Wiring up and installing devices such as control panels, cameras, electronic locks and network hardware. Minimal experience required here, we are willing to train a motivated candidate
• Proficient in creating cabling pathways and pulling cable. EMT conduit experience is preferred but not required. Must be willing to learn EMT - we will gladly train.
• Great pride in your work, including cable management, mounting devices level, and general attention to detail. Strong desire to "just do it once".
• Comfortable working up to 40-foot scissor lift height. We occasionally use boom lifts, but most work is done on ladders or scissors. Heavy equipment training is included with this role
• Familiarity with various cabling types such as Category, Fiber and Security Cabling
• Mechanical knowledge for equipment installation and maintenance
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• 3 years minimum experience required. 5+ years experience preferred.
